Even if you don’t have clear title, we can still help you in most cases! If the value of the vehicle is higher than the amount owed to pay it off, we’ll give you the difference back. If the value is less than the amount owed, you will have to provide that difference to us (unless you trade the vehicle in, in which case we may be able to add that negative equity to your new loan balance under certain circumstances).

Title or Loan/Lease Information

If you have a clear title to your vehicle, you should bring it with you.

If there is a loan, you should bring your memorandum title and loan information (lending institution and all contact info, account name, account number, social security number, and estimated payoff. All individuals or entities listed on the title should be represented, preferably in person or by notarized power of attorney if necessary.

If the vehicle is leased, you should bring all appropriate paperwork- original lease agreement and payment booklet if possible, leasing institution name and all contact info, account name, account number, social security number, and estimated payoff. All individuals or entities listed on the title should be represented, preferably in person or by notarized power of attorney if necessary.

A valid and current car registration is proof of ownership. Please bring the vehicle's current registration documentation to verify that you own the vehicle.

All titleholders should bring valid state-issued photo IDs to prove identity.

To maximize the value of your vehicle, bring all extra related items, such as: books (owner’s manual, warranty information, original window sticker, purchase documents, etc.), any maintenance and service records, extra keys, car covers, accessories, extra wheels and/or tires, radio faceplates, wheel locks, alarm codes, jack, spare, mats, etc.
